I have been working as a creative drama practitioner in a wide variety of settings for close to 20 years. I obtained my MA in Dramatherapy in 2018 from Roehampton University, since which time I have been facilitating therapeutic interventions for children in care and adoption, group and individual dramatherapy for older adults in care and nursing homes, as well as a series of creative Reflective Practice sessions for prison officers.
During the Covid-19 pandemic I volunteered to provide free, one-off emotional support calls as part of the ‘Therapists For Covid’ initiative, and participated in a creative, experiential journey with a diverse group of practitioners designing a transformational leadership program for organisations.
In the first half of 2021 I was lucky enough to collaborate with Worcestershire Museums to design and deliver a series of online and on-site Creative Wellbeing sessions for members of the public using art and stories linked to the Museums’ collection and exhibitions.
